Troopers Seek Assistance in Identifying Theft Suspect

Simon Eye Theft Suspect

Wilmington (19803) – Delaware State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a subject responsible for the theft of multiple pairs of designer sunglasses.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:56 p.m., Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Simon Eye, located at 2625 Concord Pike, Wilmington, when a female subject removed multiple pairs of designer sunglasses, valued at $1000.00 from a display rack, and then fled undetected.

After realizing merchandise had been taken, employees reviewed surveillance camera footage, and observed the above pictured subject remove the sunglasses from the display, and then conceal them in her purse, before exiting the store.

The subject is described as a white female, 35-40 years of age, 5’4”-5’6”, 140 lbs., wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and carrying a black purse.
