Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Complaint-North Wilmington

Wilmington (19810) – Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot of a Naamans Road tavern.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2017, when Troopers responded to Famous Jack’s Tavern, located at 3100 Naamans Road, Wilmington, for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival Troopers discovered a silver Nissan Versa parked in the lot, unoccupied, with damaged windows, that appeared to be the result of gunshots. Multiple spent shell casings were also observed on the pavement in the lot.

There are no known injuries related to this incident at this time however the investigation is active and ongoing.
