Troopers Investigating Robbery Convenience Store– Millsboro

Millsboro – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a convenience store that occurred last evening.

The preliminary investigation has determined the incident occurred around 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, as a male subject armed with a sharp instrument entered the Shell Food Mart, located at 24851 John J. Williams Highway, formerly known as the Dash In The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect was able to remove an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described a black male approximately 5’5” to 5’6” tall, wearing dark colored clothing, and armed with a sharp instrument. (no further physical or clothing description available).
