Dewey Beach – The Delaware State Police have identified the two men who were killed in a fatal motor vehicle crash which occurred on Saturday, October 21, 2017 on Coastal Hwy. (SR 1) in the area of Saulsbury St. as James D. Walton, 53 and Richard G. Chittick 58, both of Washington D.C.
Investigators are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the crash or otherwise encountered the involved vehicle prior to the collision occurring, to please contact Cpl. N. DeMalto of the Collision Reconstruction Unit, Troop 7 at 302-703-3267.
The involved vehicle is a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban, black in color, bearing a Florida registration.
The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as they become available.
