Troopers Investigate Dunkin Donuts Robbery-Wilmington

Wilmington, DE- Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Wilmington area Dunkin Donuts that occurred early this morning.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident occurred on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at approximately 4:15 a.m., as two male suspects entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 2706 Concord Pike, Wilmington. The first suspect, who was armed with an unknown make and model handgun, confronted an employee of the business and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. As the suspects then exited the business the armed suspect discharged his weapon and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.

The suspects were described as male approximately 20-30 years of age with one suspect armed. There is no further physical or clothing description available. No video surveillance photos are available at this time.
