New Castle –The Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for Elliot Evans, 24 of New Castle, Delaware.

Troopers are looking for Elliot Evans, 24 of New Castle who hasn’t been seen or heard from since approximately 1:15 p.m. today, Friday, December 30, 2016, after he fled as a patient from the Meadowwood Hospital, located at 575 South DuPont Highway, New Castle.

There is a concern for Evans’ welfare as troopers have been unable to make contact with him and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Elliot Evans is described as being 5’07” tall, weighs approximately 130 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black North Face winter jacket, and black boots.  Evans was last seen on foot heading towards the area of Beaverbrook Plaza. Evans is known to frequent the Beaverbrook Shopping Center and has friends and family who live in that area. Evans has tattoo marks on his face underneath both of his eyes. (photo attached)

If anyone has any information in reference to the whereabouts of Elliot Evans they are asked to call Troop 2 at 302-834-2620.
