Gold Alert Issued for Missing Newark Man

NewarkThe Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for Anthony W. Todd, of Newark, Delaware.

Troopers are looking for Anthony Todd, 44, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since approximately 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, after he fled from a vehicle in the area of US Rt. 40 (Pulaski Highway) and SR1 in Bear.

There is a concern for Todd’s welfare as troopers have been unable to make contact with him and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Anthony Todd is described as being 5’09” tall, weighs approximately 210 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with the words “Market Street Café” written in white letters on the back, and blue jeans. He was also carrying a green duffel bag.

If anyone has any information in reference to the whereabouts of Anthony Todd they are asked to call Troop 2 at 302-834-2620. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
