Arden, De. – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred west of Arden, injuring one person.
The incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 as a pickup truck was northbound on Marsh Road and another vehicle was southbound in the area of Old Orchard Road. For unknown reasons, the passenger vehicle turned into the path of the truck which caused the truck to strike a utility pole.
One person was transported to the Wilmington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers are continuing their investigation into this incident. Marsh Road between Harvey/Grubb Road and Old Gate Lane is currently closed and is expected to be closed for an unknown amount of time while utility crews work to repair the pole and remove wires from the vehicle and roadway.
