Gold Alert Issued for Missing Smyrna Man

Smyrna-The Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for Giovanni Bovenzi, of Smyrna who was last seen heard from around 7:30 p.m. Saturday October 1, 2016.

Giovanni is a white male 23 years of age, 5’07” tall, 130 lbs., brown hair and hazel eyes. He is originally from Hartly, but may be living in the Smyrna or Middletown areas.  He is known to operate a blue 2013 Chevrolet Cruz with Delaware registration 358303. (Photo Attached)

Troopers have been unable to make contact with Giovanni to check on his welfare. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and there is a real concern for his safety and welfare.

If anyone has any information in reference to his whereabouts, they are asked to contact Troop 3 at 302-697-4454 or by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com.  Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
