Smyrna- **Update-Gold Alert has been cancelled. Taj Jones has been located.
The Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for Taj N. Jones of Smyrna who was last seen leaving his residence in the 200 block of India Drive, Smyrna around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 2016.
Taj is a black male, 26 years of age, 5’09” tall, 150 lbs., black hair and brown eyes. (Photo Attached)
Troopers have been unable to make contact with Taj to check on his welfare. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and there is a real concern for his safety and welfare.
If anyone has any information in reference to his whereabouts, they are asked to contact Troop 9 at 302-378-5749 or by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
