Investigate Shots Fired Complaint
Released-Monday, February, 18, 2008
Felton-On
Friday, February 15th, at approximately 11:00 p.m.,
Troop 3 patrol officers responded to the area of Route 13 and
Rubeon May Drive (Woodland Manor Mobile Home Park) for reports
of shots fired.
Upon arrival, Troopers learned the
suspect approached a 32 year-old, Felton woman, displayed a
handgun and ordered her to keep quiet. A further investigation
revealed the suspect ran toward several males and fired shots at
them. One male fell, and the suspect proceeded to rifle through
his pockets. After not locating anything, the suspect ran
toward the female as she entered a nearby residence. The
suspect entered the residence through an unsecured door, and
then fled after being told the police had been called.
A neighbor confronted the suspect
as he ran toward an awaiting vehicle and was able to obtain a
description before the suspect drove off.
The male victims, who were not
injured, fled the scene and investigators have not been able to
locate them.
A computer check revealed the
suspect vehicle to be a silver1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Troopers
responded to Capital Park, contacted the vehicle owner and
learned she loaned the vehicle to her boyfriend. Milford Police
Officers responded to the Milford address and through a further
investigation, were able to identify, Dominique McFadden, 18, of
Milford as the primary suspect.
Troopers obtained a search warrant
and on Saturday, February, 16th, with the assistance
of Milford Police Officers, responded to the suspect’s Walnut
Street address and took him into custody without incident.

The suspect was committed to the
Delaware Correctional Institution on $27,000.00 secured bond.
