Released-Monday, February, 18, 2008

Felton-On Friday, February 15th, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Troop 3 patrol officers responded to the area of Route 13 and Rubeon May Drive (Woodland Manor Mobile Home Park) for reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, Troopers learned the suspect approached a 32 year-old, Felton woman, displayed a handgun and ordered her to keep quiet.  A further investigation revealed the suspect ran toward several males and fired shots at them.  One male fell, and the suspect proceeded to rifle through his pockets.  After not locating anything, the suspect ran toward the female as she entered a nearby residence.  The suspect entered the residence through an unsecured door, and then fled after being told the police had been called.

A neighbor confronted the suspect as he ran toward an awaiting vehicle and was able to obtain a description before the suspect drove off.

The male victims, who were not injured, fled the scene and investigators have not been able to locate them.

A computer check revealed the suspect vehicle to be a silver1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Troopers responded to Capital Park, contacted the vehicle owner and learned she loaned the vehicle to her boyfriend.  Milford Police Officers responded to the Milford address and through a further investigation, were able to identify, Dominique McFadden, 18, of Milford as the primary suspect.

Troopers obtained a search warrant and on Saturday, February, 16th, with the assistance of Milford Police Officers, responded to the suspect’s Walnut Street address and took him into custody without incident.
