State Police responded to Thompson Parkway to investigate a domestic
disturbance. State Police learned from the victim that her
ex-boyfriend was at the residence visiting when an argument ensued.
The defendant Brandon S. Wilson during the argument began pushing
the victim and restraining her, not providing the victim the
opportunity to leave freely. The victim was also prohibited the
opportunity to place a 911 call because Wilson kept the phone away
from her. Wilson also threatened to inflict bodily injury to the
victim if she called the police.
The victim was
able to convince Wilson she would not call the police if he let her
go. The victim exited the residence in Seaford and immediately
dialed 911. The victim’s 3 month old daughter was also in the room
as these events transpired.
State Police
later contacted Wilson who turned himself into authorities.
