Seaford Man Held for Assaulting Ex-girlfriend

Location: 22000 Block of Thompson Parkway Seaford, Delaware

Time: 3:15 P.M.

Defendant: Brandon S. Wilson, 20 of 300 block of Sussex Ave. Seaford,

Delaware.

Charges:

Unlawful Imprisonment

Terroristic Threatening

Assault 3rd

Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Criminal Mischief

Victim: 20 year old female Thompson Parkway, Seaford, Delaware

Resume:Delaware State Police responded to Thompson Parkway to investigate a domestic disturbance.  State Police learned from the victim that her ex-boyfriend was at the residence visiting when an argument ensued.  The defendant Brandon S. Wilson during the argument began pushing the victim and restraining her, not providing the victim the opportunity to leave freely.  The victim was also prohibited the opportunity to place a 911 call because Wilson kept the phone away from her.  Wilson also threatened to inflict bodily injury to the victim if she called the police. 

The victim was able to convince Wilson she would not call the police if he let her go.  The victim exited the residence in Seaford and immediately dialed 911.  The victim’s 3 month old daughter was also in the room as these events transpired. 

State Police later contacted Wilson who turned himself into authorities.  

Bail Disposition: Wilson was remanded to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of posting $5000.00 secured bond.
