Troopers Probe Cigarette Store Burglary

Rehoboth Beach – The Delaware State Police are investigating an overnight burglary that occurred at the Rehoboth Cigarette and Cigar Outlet located in the Food Lion Shopping Center off of Coastal Highway.

Troopers responded to the business this morning at 2:30 am after an alarm had sounded. When they arrived it was apparent that the business was burglarized. The front door had been damaged by a rock and the glass was knocked out allowing the culprit(s) to enter. Once inside they removed several cartons of cigarettes.

The suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction. Currently no video surveillance is available.
