Update #3 Frederica Fatal

Delaware
State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit has identified the victims
involved in the fatal collision that occurred on Carpenter Bridge
Road E/O Roesville Road Frederica. The 2004 Ford Explorer was E/B
Carpenter Bridge road and the 1999 Ford Explorer was traveling W/B
prior to the crash. The front end of the 2004 and 1999 Ford
Explorers collided with each other. The vehicles then burst into
flames. The location of the point of impact on the roadway is still
under investigation.
The 2004 Ford
Explorer was driven by
Michael E. Miller-34 of Frederica and he was the lone occupant of
this vehicle.
The 1999 Ford Explorer was driven by Kelly D. Rinaldi-36 of
Harrington. The other 4 occupants are Jacob Rinaldi-15, Jessup
Crow-5, Kyle Crow-5 and Kaylee Crow-7 all of Harrington. The four
kids are children of Kelly D. Rinaldi.
The cause of the crash is still currently under investigation.
Delaware State Police have suspended their on scene investigation
until tomorrow.

Updated Confirmation of Number of Fatalities
In regards to
the fatal crash that occurred outside of Frederica there is a total
of 6 persons who died. 5 individuals were in one vehicle and 1 lone
occupant in the 2nd vehicle involved.

Frederica-Delaware
State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit has been on scene of a two
vehicle crash with multiple fatalities. The crash occurred around
3:35 pm this afternoon on
Carpenter
Bridge road just east of
Roseville road Frederica.
The crash was
between two sports utility vehicles. One vehicle was traveling
westbound Carpenter
Bridge road and the other was traveling
eastbound Carpenter
Bridge road. Carpenter
Bridge road is a two lane
non-divided roadway. As a result of the collision both vehicles
burst into flames. All occupants and drivers died in this
collision. There were five who perished in vehicle and the operator
of the other sports utility vehicle died as well.
The exact
cause of the crash is currently under investigation. The names of
those involved in the crash will become available after appropriate
family notifications have been made.
