Dover Woman Arrested for Bomb Threat Harrington- Delaware State Police, Harrington Police and Midway Slots Security investigated a bomb threat called into Midway Slots Security Office. The threat was called in on Monday November 3, 2008 at approximately 3 p.m. Karen E. Baker-48 of the 1100 block of S. Bay road Dover, called the slots and advised Midway Security to evacuate the building. Midway Security contacted State Police to respond to investigate. State Police after obtaining a cell phone number used to make the call were able to trace the number to Karen E. Baker. As a result of this investigation State Police also determined the bomb threat to be domestic related. State Police discovered Baker had place several calls to the Security Office and was attempting to contact a victim from a previous incident. State Police charged Baker with the following offenses: Terroristic Threatening Noncompliance with Conditions of bond Resisting Arrest Baker was remanded to Baylor Women’s Correctional Facility in lieu of $7500.00 cash bond. |
