Robbery
Released Tuesday, September 30,
2008
Dover
– The Delaware State Police are investigating a residential robbery
that occurred Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 8:00 pm at a residence
on Kenny Court, in the development of Generals Green, Dover.
The investigation revealed two
victims, a 21 year old female - who resided at the home and an 18
year old Magnolia woman - who was visiting, were inside when two
unknown black males knocked on door. The homeowner asked who it was
at door, when one of the suspects said "Mike".
The victim who resided at the home
was waiting for her brother Mike to visit from Wilmington the day
before, but didn't open door right away, since she wasn't sure who
it was. Finally, the victim did open the door and she observed the
two unknown suspects walking away, when she asked them who you are
looking for.
The homeowner stated the suspects
walked quickly back to her, when one of them (light skinned black
male in his twenties, low cropped hair, unshaven, 6'00", thin build,
white t-shirt, baggy jeans) pulled out a black handgun and pushed
her back inside residence. The second suspect, (dark skinned black
male in his twenties, clean shaven, 5’11” to 6'00", chunky build,
white t-shirt, baggy jeans and red ball cap) also entered with a
silver colored handgun.
The victims informed investigators
one suspect started searching the first floor and basement of
residence for money, not finding any, while the other suspect held a
gun on the victims.
After getting no money, the suspects
removed the victims cell phones valued at $100.00. The suspects then
fled the home on foot in an unknown direction. Anyone with
