Woodside- The motorist killed in the Saturday morning car crash is being identified as Amber Nell, 18, of Fisher Avenue in Milford. 

This crash remains under investigation.

Woodside- On Saturday, September 13^th, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Troopers responded to the 2800 block of Henry Cowgill Road for the report of a fatal crash.

This investigation revealed an 18-year-old girl from the Dover area was traveling westbound on Henry Cowgill Road when she went off of the south edge (left side) of the roadway for an unknown reason.  The vehicle, a 1997 Dodge Neon, traveled down into a ditch and overturned several times. 

The operator was ultimately ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of the injuries she sustained in this incident.  She was not wearing her seatbelt.

The primary contributing factor in this crash has not been determined and it is unknown if alcohol is involved.  This crash remains under investigation.

The release of the operator’s name is pending the notification of the next of kin.
