State Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect Released Friday, September 12, 2008 Dover – The Delaware State Police is investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at approximately 8:30 pm. During the investigation, detectives learned the victim, a 31 year old Dover man, met a female subject on Thursday, September 4, 2008. The victim met the female suspect at the Dover Downs Casino in Dover and after a brief conversation, phone numbers were exchanged and the parties went their separate ways. On Sunday, September 7, the victim received a text message from the female suspect asking if he wanted to meet with her. The message indicated she wanted the victim to pick her up on White Oak Rd in the area of US 13. The victim arrived at the location and picked up the suspect. The female requested the victim drive her down to the end of Donas Landing Rd, east of Dover. When they arrived, an unknown large black male, exited a vehicle (described as a 2 door Acura dark in color), parked in the weeds, and robbed the victim at gun point. The male and female suspect, whom he picked up, took the victim’s personal property and his 2008 Dodge Charger black in color, with tinted windows, bearing Delaware registration 149153. They fled area. Investigators were able to obtain a photograph of the female suspect from surveillance cameras at Dover Downs. The victim in the case has positively identified the woman as the person who robbed him.
