Update Robber Makes Out with a Little Loot and a Few Lumps

Newark- Detectives have arrested Adrian Taylor, 34, of the
unit block of Heron Court (Sparrow Run) in Newark, in connection to
the robbery of the Four Seasons Liquor Store from June 3rd.
A break in the case came the night of June 4th when a citizen
recognized Taylor from the video disseminated by the State Police.
This video was broadcast on various television stations, radio, and
on-line. The witness actually saw the video via many of the
aforementioned sources. This witness called the police and Crime
Stoppers to provide the information which led to Taylor’s arrest
this morning.
Adrian Taylor was formally charged with one count of Robbery 2nd
and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of
$3,500.00 secured bail.

Original Release Robber Makes Out with a Little Loot and a Few
Lumps

Newark- On Tuesday night, a male robbery suspect got a
little more than he bargained for when he attempted a heist of the
Four Seasons Liquor Store (702 Plaza Drive in Newark).
Shortly before 11:00 p.m., Troopers were called to the above
location for the report of a robbery. This investigation revealed a
black male suspect entered the store and selected a bottle of malt
liquor from display. The suspect approached the front counter and
presented the clerk with two dollars- the product he selected cost
$1.98. The clerk opened the register to complete the transaction
when the suspect lunged across the counter and began to remove cash
from the register drawer.
The clerk took an aluminum baseball bat concealed behind the
counter and began to strike the suspect. This effort by the clerk
resulted in the suspect dropping some of the money he originally
took (the exact amount is undisclosed). The suspect fled out of the
front door toward the Four Seasons Apartments.
The suspect is described as: a black male, 5'07" to 5'08" tall,
180 to 190 pounds, full beard, and low pitched voice with an average
build
