Trail Runs Cold in Fashion Gear Robbery- Publics’ Help Sought

New Castle- On Friday April 6^th, at approximately 5:16 p.m. an armed robbery occurred at Fashion Gear clothing store located at 1418 North DuPont Hwy., DE 19720 (Continental Shopping Center).

A Hispanic male entered the store, approached the victim clerk, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, and demanded cash from the business’ cash register. This subject then forced the employee to the rear of store and attempted to tie the victim’s hands behind her back. Two other suspects then responded to the cash register where they began to remove money from within.

All the suspects also removed Nike shoes from the business and then fled.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect-1: Hispanic male, approx. 20-25 years old, approx. 5’08’’ to 5’10’’, average to stocky build, facial hair, wearing a white tee shirt over a black shirt, dark pants, and dark colored baseball hat. Suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect-2: Male (unknown race), approx. 20-25 years old, approx. 5’10’’ to 5’11’’, average build, wearing dark clothing.
Suspect-3: Male (unknown race), approx. 20-25 years old, approx. 5’10’’ to 5’11’’, average build, wearing dark clothing.
