Thirsty Thief Near Farrand Drive

Kirkwood Highway- Yesterday morning Troopers were called to the new Applebee’s location (4301 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington) in reference to a theft from this location.

This investigation revealed that shortly after 1:00 a.m. on May 20th, a white male subject approached to the rear of the business where he used a pair of bolt cutters to unsecure a rear fence and get to three kegs of beer which were temporarily stored outside.

This suspect loaded the kegs into the rear of his maroon colored sedan. He then fled the scene to an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, brown hair, 5’07” to 5’11”, 150 – 180 pounds, average build, wearing an orange shirt and jeans.
