Identity of
Robbery Suspect Sought

On Friday, April 25, 2008, at
approximately 9:05 a.m. an armed robbery occurred at La
Estrella grocery store located at 795 Pulaski Highway in
Bear. A Hispanic male suspect entered the store, displayed a black
handgun, and demanded cash from the business’ employee. The victim
told the suspect where the cash was located. The suspect then
forced the employee to the rear of the business and the suspect
bound the victim’s legs and hands. The suspect removed an
undisclosed amount of money and fled the business in the above
vehicle.
The suspect is
described as a Hispanic male, approx. mid 30’s, approx.
5’08’’ to 5’10’’, facial hair, dark eyebrows, wearing a light
colored hooded sweat jacket, dark pants, armed with a black
handgun. He was last seen fleeing in a green Ford F-150 pick up
with light green or teal colored cap
