Shortly after 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, Troop 7 Patrol Troopers and Dewey Beach Patrol Officers were dispatched to the Delaware Bay for reports of a plane crash.

The initial investigation revealed that a single engine super cub was flying mid air when the engine shut down.  The pilot and lone occupant, Thomas J. Mr. Henry was able to exit the plane on his own and was uninjured.

This crash is still under investigation.
