DSP News Release: Saturday, October 31, 2009- Savannah Discount Liquor Store Robbed
Location: Savannah Discount Liquor Store, 32175 North DuPont Boulevard, Dagsboro, Delaware
Date of Occurrence: Friday, October 30, 2009, at 10:42 p.m.
Suspect(s): · White male, 5’10” to 6’ tall, average build, jeans and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt · Black male, 5’08” to 5’10” tall, average build, wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt and was armed with what appeared to be a handgun
Resume: Troop 4 detectives are investigating a late night robbery which occurred at the Savannah Discount Liquor Store located in the Savannah Square Shopping Center.
At about 10:42 p.m., the two male suspects described above entered the liquor store and approached the service counter. The white male suspect walked around behind the counter and started to push the clerk around. The suspects demanded cash and the clerk complied.
The bandits fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There is no surveillance video available.
