Preliminary DSP News Release: Monday, November 09, 2009- Fatal Crash on Conrail Road in Seaford
Location: Conrail Road, south of Cannon Road, Seaford, Delaware, Sussex County
Date of Occurrence: Monday, November 09, 2009, at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Resume: Investigators from the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are currently on the scene of a single vehicle crash on Conrail Road, south of Cannon Road, in Seaford.
Preliminary reports from the scene indicate this crash occurred when a vehicle veered off of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
A male subject was pronounced dead at the scene.
Motorists should seek alternative routes.
Sgt. Walter Newton will provide a more complete release later this evening when details are known and confirmed.
