DSP News Release: Friday, November 6th, 2009 - DSP Investigating a Gas Station Robbery

Suspect(s): Unknown black male wearing dark clothing; face concealed

On Thursday, November 5th, 2009, at approximately 8:45 pm, Delaware State Police were summoned to the Shore Stop located at 25776 Deep Branch Road, east of Milton for report of a robbery.
The investigation revealed that an unknown black male suspect, dressed in all dark clothing, with his face concealed entered the store. Upon entering the store the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the store clerk.
The clerk complied with the demands of the suspect and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the store in a southwest direction. The clerk was not injured in the incident.
The Delaware State Police Trooper checked the area and a K9 Unit attempted to track the suspect without success.
