Maryland Man Arrested in Dagsboro Burglary
Released-Saturday, May, 30, 2009
Dagsboro-On Friday, May, 29th, David W. Mills, 50, of Silver Spring, MD was taken into custody by Montgomery County Police officers in reference to the Dagsboro Burglary.
A search warrant of Mr. Mills’ residence was conducted after Rockville, Maryland Police officers located the stolen vehicle belonging to one of the victim’s in addition to locating some of the victim’s property at a pawn shop in Rockville, MD with evidence linking Mr. Mills.
During the search at Mr. Mills’ residence, some of the victims’ property was located.
Mr. Mills was taken into custody at his residence and transported to the Wheaton Police Station where he was being held pending extradition to Delaware.
Warrants are on file at Troop 4 for David W. Mills. Charges are: *One Count Burglary 2nd (felony) *One count of Burglary 3rd (felony) *Two Counts of Theft (felony) *One count of Theft (misdemeanor)

DSP News Release: Monday, May 11, 2009- Residential Burglary Investigated in Dagsboro
Location of Incident: State Route 26 in Dagsboro, Delaware, Sussex County
Date and Time of Occurrence: Sunday, May 10, 2009, at approximately 7:00 a.m.
Suspect(s): Unknown
Resume: Detectives from the Delaware State Police are investigating a residential burglary which occurred on Sunday at about 7:00 a.m. in the area of Dagsboro.
In this incident, an unknown suspect entered the home via a kitchen window. Once inside, the suspect stole the victim’s purse and car keys. With the purse keys in hand, the suspect then entered a shed on the property and stole a variety of items from within.
The suspect fled the residence in the victim’s car, a black 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Delaware tags #131919.
