DSP News Release: December 31st, 2009, 10:20 am- Multiple Thefts from Vehicles in Seaford

 

Location:

 

  • Hearns Pond Drive, Seaford DE.

 

  • Shore Drive, Seaford DE.

 

  •  Thompson Parkway, Seaford, DE

 

  •  Carvel Road, Seaford, DE

 

  •  Dolby Drive, Seaford, DE

 

Date of Occurrence: Various times between, Tuesday, December 29th,  2009, and Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

 

Suspects:  Unknown

 

Resume:  On Wednesday December 30th, 2009 Troopers responded to multiple residences in Seaford, DE for several vehicle break-ins.  Upon Troopers investigations it was discovered that a rash of vehicle break-ins had occurred through the night and early morning hours. 

 

The unknown suspect(s) targeted unlocked vehicles that were parked both in driveways and on the street.  A total of nine vehicles had items removed, ranging from a few coins to small electronic devices.

 

Delaware State Police is asking residence in the area not to leave valuables in their vehicle and keep doors locked and alarms activated.
