DSP News Release: December 17, 2009, 6:30 pm, - Charges Filed Against the Driver of the Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident, Sussex County
Location: The intersection of Ellendale- Greenwood Highway, and South Union Church Road.
Date of Occurrence: 12/17/09, at approximately 9:01 am
Defendant: Desiree N. Vincent, 21, of Seaford, DE
Resume: The operator of the 1998 Oldsmobile, Desiree N. Vincent has been charged in reference to the early morning accident that took the life of Mary E. Bradley, 61, of Olney, MD. Ivan O. Bradley, 63, of Olney MD, also suffered injuries in the accident and is being treated at Christiana Hospital.
Desiree N. Vincent has been charged with, Vehicular Homicide 2nd (f), Maintaining a Vehicle for the Keeping of a Controlled Substance (f), Conspiracy 2nd (f), Possession of a Narcotic (m), 2 Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, (m), and Vehicle Assault (m).
Desiree N. Vincent was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correction Institute in lieu of $20,500 secured bail.
