DSP News Release: December 16, 2009, 1:43 pm, Doctor Arrested in Lewes for Rape 2nd, and Sexual Contact charges
Location: 18259, Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE
Date of Occurrence: 12/16/2009, at approximately 7:00 am
Defendant: Earl B. Bradley, 56, Lewes, DE
Resume: Troop 4 detectives are currently investigation Earl B. Bradley a pediatrician out of Lewes, DE, in reference to unlawful sexual contact charges. Doc. Bradley has been the focus of a year long investigation by detectives involving multiple victims. The recent charges against Doc. Bradley stemmed from an incident that took place between late October and early December of this year, involving a 2 year old female victim.
Charges were filed against Doc. Bradley late last night after the victim of the recent incident was interviewed by State Officials. Troop 4 detectives placed Doc. Bradley in custody at his residence early this morning. Detectives also conducted a search warrant at Doc. Bradley’s office on Coastal Highway, Lewes DE. Troop 4 detectives removed several computers and medical files from Doc. Bradley’s office while conducting the search warrant.
Earl B. Bradley is charged with Rape 2nd (f), Unlawful Sexual Contact 1st (f), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (f). Earl B. Bradley is currently being interviewed at Troop 4 by detectives and the investigation is ongoing.
Upon completion of the interview, Doc. Bradley will be arraigned in reference to the above charges and bail will be set.
