DSP Seeks Information Regarding Fight in Parking Lot

 

Rehoboth - On Sunday, April 12th, 2009, at approximately 1:45 am, Delaware State Police responded to the Wawa located at 4500 Costal Highway, reference to an assault complaint.

 

Upon arriving, Delaware State Troopers revealed that a fight occurred between two groups of individuals over comments made about a female member of one of the groups.  During this altercation, a 22-year old female sustained a minor non-life threatening injury and declined medical treatment. 

 

DSP is seeking information on one specific party who was involved in the assault.  This individual is described as a black male between 18 and 25 years of age, 5'5 to 6'0 tall with chin length dreadlocks. 

 

The investigation is on-going.  If surveillance is available and will aid in the investigation it will be diseminated at a later time.
