DSP News Release: Monday, October 19th, 2009 - Gas Station Attendant Robbed at Gun Point

 

Location: 840 Bay Road, Sunoco Gas Station, Milford

 

Date of Occurrence: Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at approximately 1130 am

 

Suspect(s):

 

Black male suspect, 5’8 with a slender build, face was concealed

Black male suspect, 5’6 with a slender build, face was concealed and displayed a handgun

 

Resume:  On Saturday, October 17th, at approximately 1130 am, Delaware State Troopers responded to the Sunoco Gas Station, located at 840 Bay Road, for a robbery.

 

The investigation revealed that a female store employee was in the rear office of the gas station, when the bell rang, indicating someone entered the store.  The employee exited the office and observed two black male subjects inside the store. 

 

As the clerk was walking towards the counter, one of the suspects requested an item that is maintained behind the counter.  The clerk returned to the counter at which time the second male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded all the money from the register.

 

The store attendant complied with the request and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
