Joint Police
Investigation nets Drugs Cash and Paraphernalia

Seaford-
On Tuesday April 15, 2008 the Delaware State Police Sussex Drug
Unit, Sussex Governor’s Task Force and the Seaford Police
Department completed a four month joint investigation which led
to the arrest of two Seaford residents on several drug related
charges.
State Troopers
and Seaford Police officers executed search a warrant at a residence
located on King Street in Seaford. During the search, Jeremy
Williams, 25 of Seaford and Cherita Roach 29, also of
Seaford were taken into custody.
Seized during
the search were 2 lbs of marijuana some of which was packaged in 1
ounce baggies for distribution, 11.2 grams of crack cocaine, digital
scales, drug paraphernalia, and $677.00 cash.
Both Williams
and Roach were arrested for Trafficking Cocaine (F), Possession with
Intent to Deliver Cocaine (F), Possession with Intent to Deliver
Marijuana (F), Conspiracy 2nd Degree (F), four counts of
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), and Maintaining a Dwelling for
Keeping a Controlled Substance (F).
Williams was
arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in
lieu of $57,100.00 cash bond.
Roach was
arraigned and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s
Correctional Institution in lieu of $7,100.00 cash bond. |
