Troopers Charge
Bridgeville Man with Drug and Weapons Offenses

Bridgeville-Yesterday
morning, members of the Delaware State Police Drug Unit, Troop 5,
Governor’s Task Force, and DEA Task Force executed a search and
seizure warrant at a residence located along the 21000 block Mill
Park Drive, in Fisher Mill Park Bridgeville.
The home owner,
Henry L. Weston, Jr., 58, of Bridgeville, was taken into custody
inside the residence. A search of the dwelling revealed a loaded
.22 caliber handgun, two boxes of .22 caliber ammunition and several
loose rounds of.38 caliber ammunition.
Approximately
six grams of marijuana was seized from Weston’s bedroom. A black
digital scale and various paraphernalia used for consumption of
crack cocaine including metal screens, razor blades, and poker rods
were also seized.
As a result of
their investigation, detectives charged Weston with the following
criminal offenses: four counts of Possession of a Firearm or
Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (F), Maintaining a Dwelling for
Keeping Controlled Substances (F), and three counts of Possession of
Drug Paraphernalia (M).
Weston was
arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the
Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $7,700.00 secured bond.
