Harbeson Man Shot in Home Invasion

An early morning home invasion
Robbery leads to the home owner being shot.
On Thursday,
February 28th at approximately 2:39 a.m. Troopers
responded to a report of a Robbery in the area of the 28000
block of Aliene Ave, Harbeson. It was reported to the
investigators that three black males entered the home and
demanded money. When the homeowner refused, the male 32 year old
victim was then battered by one of the assailants with the butt
of a shot gun. The victim was able to flee his house and in the
course of running away, he was shot at numerous times and struck
in the back and upper leg.
Once at a
neighbor’s residence, the suspects continued shooting at the
victim striking the house which three more victims were put in
harms way, one being a 13 year old. No one in this house was
injured and the suspects never made contact with them.
The victim
was able to make contact with the neighbor who then alerted the
Police and Emergency Medical Services. He was then transported
by ambulance to Beebe Hospital where he is listed in stable
condition.
The three
males were described as 5’5” – 6’00” tall wearing black
sweatshirts and wearing an unknown item to cover their face. Two
of them were observed carrying shotguns and another was carrying
a handgun.
