DSP News Release: Governor’s Task Force Arrest Probation Violator with Drugs
Location: Unit block of State Circle, Capitol Park Development, Dover, DE
Date of Occurrence: Monday September 24, 2013 at approximately 10:53 p.m.
Defendant, Charges, and Bond Information:
Ø Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
Ø Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Arraigned at JP7 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $5,100.00 secured bond.
Dover, DE- The Delaware State Police Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) arrested a Level III probationer during a curfew check after drugs were found.
Troopers along with Probation and Parole officers assigned to GTF, responded to the unit block of State Circle in Capitol Park shortly before 11:00 p.m. last night in order to perform a curfew check on Jaaron T. Tolson, who is a level III probationer for a drug conviction. Upon making contact with Tolson, who was exiting a vehicle adjacent to his house, he was taken into custody and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. An administrative search was conducted of the premise and officers located 13 bags of heroin along with more than $5,000.00 in suspected drug proceeds.
Jaaron Tolson was transported back to Troop 3 where he was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned at JP7 and committed to JTVCC on $5,100.00 secured bond.
