TROOPERS INVESTIGATE STANTON EXXON ROBBERY

DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Stanton Exxon Robbery
Location: · Exxon Dash-In, 414 Main Street (Stanton), Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 9:00 p.m.
Victim: · 47 year old male employee
Suspect: · White male, unknown age, 5’10”-6’0” tall, 160-175 lbs, last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and unknown type mask covering face. Suspect was armed with an unknown type handgun. · White male, unknown age, 5’07”-5’09” tall, 140-150 lbs, last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and unknown type mask covering face.
Resume: Stanton-Delaware State Troopers are investigating the robbery of the Exxon Dash-in located in Stanton that occurred last night.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. last evening as two males suspects entered the Exxon-Dash-In and approached the 47 year old sales clerk who was located behind the sales counter. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled on foot, last seen running toward the Arbor Pointe Apartments. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
