TROOPERS INVESTIGATE AUTOZONE ROBBERY, BEAR


DSP News Release:  Troopers Investigate AutoZone Robbery, Bear 

 

Location:

·         AutoZone Store, 1727 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

·         Monday, September 19, 2011 at 9:50 p.m.

 

Victim(s):

·         2 unidentified male employees

·         1 unidentified female employee

 

 

Suspect(s):

·         Black male, 20-25 years of age, 5’10” tall, 180 lbs.  Last seen wearing all dark clothing with dark colored mask covering his face.  Suspect armed with unknown type handgun.

·         Black male, 20-25 years of age, 6’0” tall, 180 lbs.  Last seen wearing gray long sleeved t-shirt and blue jeans with dark mask covering his face.  Suspect armed with a knife.

Bear-Troopers are investigating the armed robbery of an AutoZone Store that occurred last night in Bear, DE.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. last evening as two male suspects entered the AutoZone, armed with a knife and unknown type handgun.  The suspects confronted the store employees and demanded cash.  The employees complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspects fled the business on foot.  There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
