TROOPERS INVESTIGATE EXXON DASH-IN ROBBERY


DSP News Release:  Troopers Investigate Exxon Dash-In Robbery 

 

Location:

·         Exxon Dash-In, 400 Pulaski Highway, New Castle, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

·         Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 12:40 a.m.

 

Victim:

·         21 year old male employee

 

Suspect:

·         Black male, 30-35 years of age, 5’08”-5’10” tall, 190-200 lbs, last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirt, white cargo pants, dark colored work boots.  Suspect was armed with a knife.

 

 

Resume:

New Castle-Delaware State Troopers are investigating the robbery of the Exxon Dash-In located on Pulaski Highway that occurred early this morning.

 

The incident occurred shortly after midnight at 12:40 a.m. as a male suspect entered the Exxon Dash-In and approached the 21 year old sales clerk who was located behind the front counter.  The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money.  The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect fled the business on foot.  There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
