DSP News Release: Robbery Suspect Photos Released

Resume: Delaware State Police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect who robbed the Exxon gas station located in the 800 block of Foulk Road, Wilmington, on August 18, 2011.

The incident happened as a male suspect entered the gas station at approximately 10:00 p.m. He then confronted a 16 year old male clerk who was standing behind the sales counter and demanded money from the store register. A weapon was not displayed. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then left the store and was last seen walking towards Wilson Road. The victim was not injured.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this robbery to contact at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 6 or ext. 0. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword “DSP” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. DSP News Release: Detectives Probe Gas Station Robbery

Location: Exxon Service Station, 800 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE

Date of Occurrence:   Thursday, August, 18, 2011 at 10:00 p.m.

Suspect:   White male, 19-22 years of age, 5’06”-5’08” tall with an average build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood covering his face.

Victim:  16 year old male clerk

Wilmington- Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating the robbery of a north Wilmington gas station that occurred late last night.

The incident happened as a male suspect entered the Exxon Gas Station located in the 800 block of Foulk Road at approximately 10:00 p.m. The suspect then confronted a 16 year old male clerk who was standing behind the sales counter. He then demanded money from the store register, implying that he was armed. A weapon was not displayed, however. The clerk complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then left the store and was last seen walking towards Wilson Road. The victim was not injured.
