UPDATE, DETECTIVES SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECT

DSP News Release: Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect

 

Resume: Delaware State Police detectives have released surveillance photographs of the suspect who robbed the Wawa store located in the 300 block of Ridge Road, Claymont, on August 25, 2011.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. as a male suspect entered the store and displayed a hand gun. He then pointed the gun at a 29 year old employee of the store and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then fled from the store and was last seen running in a westbound direction. The clerk was not injured.

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may know the identity of the below pictured suspect to contact the robbery squad at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 6 or ext. 0.   Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword “DSP” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Callers can also submit information via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
