DSP News Release:  Gold Alert Issued for Missing Senior Citizen

• Last seen by family on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10:00 p.m.

Gold Alert Subject:

• William R. Savage-65 of Lewes, DE
• Black male, 5’08” tall, 200 lbs
• Last seen wearing a green polo shirt, khaki shorts.
• Possibly operating a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis, tan in color, DE Registration #978806.  Vehicle also has a “Washington Redskins” decal on the front bumper.
• A current photograph of Savage is not available at this time.

Lewes-The Delaware State Police are issuing a Gold Alert for a missing senior citizen, William R. Savage-65, of Lewes, DE.

Troopers are looking for William R. Savage-65 who was last seen by family on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10:00 p.m. at a residence in the 32000 block of Jimtown Road, Lewes, DE.

Troopers have been unable to make contact with Savage to check on his welfare.  Attempts to locate Savage have been unsuccessful and there is concern for his safety and welfare.
