TROOPERS PROBE EXXON STATION ROBBERY


DSP News Release:  Troopers Probe Exxon Station Robbery 

 

Location:

·         Exxon Station, 1001 Centre Road, Wilmington, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

·         Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 5:50 p.m.

 

Victim:

·         Unidentified male employee

 

Suspect:

·         White male, 20-30 years of age, 5’08”-5’10” tall, 150 lbs.  Last seen wearing black t-shirt, long blue shorts, dark colored cloth covering face. Armed with unknown type handgun.

 

Resume:

Wilmington-Delaware State Troopers are investigating the robbery of the Exxon Station located on Centre Road that occurred earlier this evening

 

The incident occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. this evening as a male suspect entered the Exxon Station and approached the sales counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.  The suspect took an undisclosed amount of United States Currency from the register and fled on foot from the business.  There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
