DSP News Release: Detective Release Photo of Robbery Suspect

Wilmington- Delaware State Police robbery detective have released a surveillance photo of the man suspected of robbing the 7-11 Convenience store located in the 2500 block of Kirkwood Highway on Monday, August 29. 

 

The incident happened at approximately 10:45 p.m. as a male suspect entered the 7-11 Convenience Store and displayed a black handgun. The suspect approached a 19 year old clerk who was working behind the sales counter. He then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money from the store registers. The suspect then fled from the store and was last seen running in a westbound direction toward Elizabeth Avenue. The clerk was not injured.

DSP News Release: Troopers Probe Convenience Store Robbery

 

Location: 7-11, 2510 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE

 

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:45 p.m.

 

Victim: 

 

-19 year old male employee

 

Suspect:  White male, 20-29 years of age, 5’10”-6’00” tall, 140-160 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, and an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white stripes and black jeans. He was also armed with a handgun.

Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the armed robbery of a Wilmington area convenience store that occurred late yesterday evening.

 

The incident happened at approximately 10:45 p.m. Monday as a male suspect entered the 7-11 Convenience Store located in the 2500 block of Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington. The suspect displayed a black handgun and approached a 19 year old clerk who was working behind the sales counter. The suspect then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money from the store registers. He then fled from the store and was last seen running in a westbound direction toward Elizabeth Avenue. The clerk was not injured.
