DSP News Release:  Traffic Advisory- DE Rt. 1 Southbound Partially Closed Due to Crash

Location: DE Rt. 1 north of the Puncheon Run Connector (south of the Dover Toll Plaza), Dover, DE

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Monday, October 31, 2011 at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Resume: 

Dover, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a one vehicle personal injury motor vehicle crash which has partially shut down DE Rt. 1 southbound south of the Dover Toll Plaza.

Initial indication is that the crash involves one vehicle with a subject trapped inside. The left hand lane of southbound Rt. 1 at the scene is open at this time; however, commuters should expect delays and use alternate means of travel around the area if possible.

More detailed information will be released upon the completion of the investigation.
