DSP News Release: Troopers Probe Harrington Robbery
Location: Valero Gas Station, 16381 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, DE
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 8:10 p.m.
Victim:
-56 year old female clerk
Suspect:
-White male, 16-25 years of age, 5’03”-5’07” tall, 150 lbs, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket with a large hood.
Resume: Harrington, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Harrington area gas station that occurred yesterday evening.
The incident happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. Thursday as a male suspect walked into the Valero Gas Station located in the 16000 block of S. DuPont Highway in Harrington, DE. The suspect confronted a 56 year old female clerk and implied that he was armed. No weapon was seen, however. He then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash from the store register before leaving. The suspect possibly fled the area in a blue unknown make and model minivan. The clerk was not injured.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to call 302-741-2800.
