DSP News Release: Troopers Probe Convenience Store Robbery

 

Location: Farmington Mini Mart, 332 Main Street, Farmington, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 7:40 p.m.

 

Victim: 

 

-Female clerk

 

Suspect:    

 

-White male, 6’00”-6’02” tall, 150-160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, black gloves, and black sunglasses. He was also armed with an unknown type of handgun.

Farmington, DE- The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Farmington convenience store that occurred yesterday evening.

 

The incident happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday as a male suspect entered the Farmington Mini Mart located in the 300 block of Main Street, in Farmington, DE. The suspect, who was armed with an unknown type of handgun, then confronted the female clerk and demanded cash from the store cash register. The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the robbery unit at 302-741-2800.
