DSP News Release: Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Robbery of Elderly Man

·         George Read Middle School (athletic running track), 314 East Basin Road, New Castle, DE

New Castle-Delaware State Police Robbery Detectives are continuing their investigation into the armed robbery of a 75 year old man that occurred on the athletic track of the George Read Middle School on Monday, October 17, 2011.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a possible suspect vehicle that was seen in the area after the robbery.  The vehicle is described as a silver, four door mid-size sedan, similar to a newer model Hyundai.  The vehicle was occupied by two black males.
