DSP News Release: Detectives Probe Dover Home Invasion Robbery

 

Location: Residence in the 4600 block of Pearson’s Corner Road, Dover, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 5:15 a.m.

 

Victims: 

 

-58 year old female resident

-60 year old male resident

 

Suspects:    

 

-Two male subjects armed with handguns (no further description)

Dover, DE- Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating a home invasion style robbery that occurred yesterday morning in Dover, DE.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, as two male subjects forced their way into a home located in the 4600 block of Pearson’s Corner Road in Dover. Both subjects, who were armed with handguns, then confronted the male and female residents of the home. The suspects then removed several weapons and personal property from the home before fleeing in an unknown direction. The 60 year old male resident was slightly injured after he engaged in a physical altercation with one of the suspects. He refused treatment.
