DSP News Release: Roadway Opened Following Serious Crash

Felton, DE- Willow Grove Road has been re-opened to traffic at this time.

A male subject who was injured in the crash has been removed from the scene and transported by helicopter to the Christiana Hospital where he is being treated for serious but non life threatening injuries.

This crash remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit. Complete details will be released upon the completion of their investigation.

DSP News Release: Troopers Investigating Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

Location: 3000 block of Willow Grove Road, Felton, Delaware

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Sunday, November 27, 2011 at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Felton, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on Willow Grove Road in the area of Pony Track Road in Felton, DE.

Initial information is that multiple vehicles are involved in the crash. The crash has Willow Grove Road in the area of Pony Track Road and Mt. Olive Cemetery Road closed at this time. Commuters are asked to find alternate means of travel around the crash scene.
